Nestled within the peaceful backwaters of Longborough, with an unusual style that’s further complimented by the owners stylish interior and furnishings, just perfect for a romantic weekend away in The Cotswolds.
The Experience
This quintessential Cotswold dormer cottage nestles into a hillside and enjoys panoramic views across the sweeping hills and valleys of the North Cotswolds.
Take in the charm of this traditional Cotswold stone cottage, renovated with a contemporary twist on the traditional.
The entrance being the perfect place to leave your walking boots behind you as you step into the cosy lounge where the warming wood burner will entice you to sit back and relax amongst the tasteful soft furnishings that blend simply with the rustic charm.
A particularly seductive feature is that the ground floor is split-level, with a stunning sight-line created via steps leading up from the lounge to the dining room which is just perfect for a supper for two if you choose to stay in,(also located in this room is a fridge, freezer and washing machine).
The small kitchen is bespoke in style and equipped with electric oven and hob, fridge and microwave. And when the day is done climb the stairs to the double bedroom fit for a king – the vaulted ceilings with exposed beams and exposed filament Edison style lights are the perfect back drop for a super relaxed nights sleep.
The luxurious bathroom with rainfall shower over bath is located off the bedroom.
Head into the enclosed garden from pretty sleeper steps up from the lounge -the natural garden has a wild bohemian feel to it and is a perfect sun trap to while away the afternoon with a good book, or perhaps light the barbecue and cook for friends.
On summer evenings sit back and listen to wafts of the Longborough Festival Opera that is just across the way., the renowned Longborough Festival Opera is situated virtually underneath the stepped terrace of the bottom of the garden.
There is also off road parking for two cars.

Had a really wonderful stay! In a quiet village with a local pub (friendly, good beer, food looked good), village shop and a farm shop 15min walk away. Cottage perfect for a romantic getaway, plenty of logs provided for open fire, tastefully decorated and well supplied kitchen. Handy for Chipping Campden (prefer to Broughton), Stow & other nice villages (Blockley Cafe nearby also recommended). Overall Perfect!
