Fox Cottage is simply a joy and delight. The owner’s great attention to detail and creative eye has really worked its magic to make this period property not only visually stunning but also a super comfortable and cosy retreat – and certainly one that wouldn’t look out of place in any interiors magazine.

There’s still plenty of traditional features; pamment flooring, inglenook fireplace, the original bread oven with feature lighting, latched doors, beamed ceilings and Norfolk winder stairs!

The ground floor comprises of two rooms; a well-equipped country style dining kitchen that showcases lovely Portuguese wall tiles and has everything that an enthusiastic cook could possibly need, and a sitting room rich in colour, with velvet sofas, large widescreen television and a wood burning stove to really ramp up the cosy factor to the max.

Upstairs on the first floor, a generous landing leads to the two beautifully presented bedrooms (double and twin), both with iron bedsteads and funky bedside lamps, and a smart bathroom with bath with rainfall shower overhead.

When the sun is in the sky and the days are warmer, you can enjoy the private, shingled garden that’s fully enclosed with willow fencing and a part flinted wall adorned with a star, pretty lighting and an arched mirror window reflecting light back into the garden – the perfect spot for sharing a bottle of local wine (see where to buy below) and outdoor dining when the mood takes you, and the weather permits.

And, lastly, the best news of all – you can bring your much-loved canine pal (or two) to share this fabulous bolt hole with you as well.
