The Experience

Packed full of character and charm, with wooden floors and beamed ceilings throughout, this mid terrace cottage is very welcoming, cosy and comfortably furnished and suitable for a maximum of three adults.

Downstairs there is a good-sized sitting room, with a large log burner to keep you warm in cooler months, this room oozes warmth and character.

An open plan, well-equipped newly fitted kitchen with dining area is just off the sitting room, and the ground floor bathroom is accessed from the entrance hall.

The stairs to the first floor are quite steep (but they are wide, straight and have a handrail) and lead into the galleried double bedroom. A doorway from this bedroom leads through to the single bedroom next door, with an adult size single bed with a slightly smaller trundle bed underneath.

Blakeney is an all year round holiday destination, popular with walkers, bird watchers and sailors. Families with young children can enjoy a spot of crabbing from the quay, take a boat trip out to

Blakeney Point to see the seals, and explore the coastal path, marshes and nature reserves close by.

If you want to leave the car behind for the day, just take the Coasthopper bus which regularly passes through the village – it will take you to all the coastal villages from Hunstanton to Cromer.

Delightful cottage

A delightful cottage with a cosy wood burner in the centre of Blakeney, just up the road from a dog friendly pub, The White Horse, that does excellent fish and chips and beer. What could be better for a few days away.

Location

Blakeney is one of the jewels of the North Norfolk coast and a mecca for sailors, birders, artists and walkers.

The picturesque harbour is always bustling with children (and adults!) gillying for crabs.

Take a walk along the sea defence wall over the saltmarsh and you will be rewarded with simply stunning views. The village is a maze of winding streets and tiny fishermen’s cottages, and there are some great places to eat and enjoy the local sea food.
