Such a charming cottage in the perfect location for exploring Dorset's pretty villages and coastline. Lanes End is very much the chocolate box cottage, the AGA and kitchen's focal point makes for a real country feel adding warmth and cosiness, and not forgetting the copper boat bath which was a real treat!! This trip was about some much needed R&R and it did not disappoint.
The nearby village of Cerne Abbas is the home of the Cerne Giant an ancient naked figure sculpted into the chalk hillside.
The village also has three popular pubs and a tea shop, an ancient abbey with pretty gardens and many beautiful cottages to admire.
