This terraced cottage is five minutes’ walk from the beach, High Street shops and shops and provides all the comforts of a home-from-home.
Number 22 is a cosy and spacious, light and airy terraced character cottage, ideal for year-round holidays and short breaks.
Thoughtfully decorated and equipped throughout, it features an open-plan living and dining area which leads into a modern kitchen and onto a pretty, sunny courtyard garden.
The stylish master bedroom benefits from the morning sun and is spacious and airy, whilst the second double bedroom has views over the rear garden.
Off this bedroom is a smaller bunk room, perfect for children.
In the warmer summer months, enjoy dining alfresco and cook up a treat on the large brick-built barbecue. With the sun in the garden through the afternoon and evening, it’s a great place to relax and unwind after a busy day exploring the local area.
Number 22 can also be booked as a sleeps four option. The 3rd (bunk) bedroom is locked when the sleeps 4 option is booked. For this option you have access to the master and second double bedroom.
There isn’t any designated parking at the cottage however there is free parking in front of the cottage on the road.
Excellent cottage! Immaculate and clean; a credit to the housekeeper. Sofas very comfortable! Recommend the Lighthouse Restaurant but be sure to book as it gets busy.

No 22 is perfectly situated to enjoy all that Aldeburgh has to offer. It is a short walk to both the beach and the High Street. Aldeburgh is a pretty coastal town on the river Alde in Suffolk which enjoys breathtaking views both seawards and following the River Alde inland. Possibly best known for having been the home of composer, Benjamin Britten and as the location of the internationally renowned Aldeburgh Festival.
Aldeburgh remains an artistic and literary centre as well as a popular destination for holiday makers and sailors. Famous for many things – good food, great fish & chips, Aldeburgh Music, Maggi Hamblings’ Scallop on the Beach being just a few.
