Park Cottage is on a beautiful private estate, set in glorious grounds and wonderfully secluded. A stylish, rustic retreat yet within easy reach of North Norfolk’s best beaches.
Once the gamekeeper’s cottage, this pretty as a picture Norfolk holiday home is tucked away on the Fring Estate and has now been transformed into a luxury self-catering cottage with a modern, light interior.
The traditional carrstone wall exterior conceals the modern features inside. With stripped floor boards, this property is honest yet welcoming with lots of light and offers a spacious master SuperKing bedroom, King size bedroom and a twin with two full size singles, all dressed with crisp white linens.
With two bathrooms; a family bathroom upstairs and a shower room downstairs, this property would be perfect for a couple, a small group of friends wanting complete seclusion or a family wanting to enjoy country life, yet still be in easy reach of the coast.
Park Cottage’s private surroundings are perfect for relaxing and unwinding and dining al fresco too, so if the weather is glorious then head outside.
On cooler evenings light the open fire and read a book or watch Sky TV. Children (and adults-alike) will love the games room (with table tennis table) adjacent to the cottage, perfect when the days are not so sunny.
The estate provides the facility to hire up to 6 bicycles (adults and children’s bikes available), so you can explore the expansive grounds on two wheels. Cycle routes will be supplied in the cottage. Guests can use the footpaths and cycle paths within the estate during their stay. The tennis court and swimming pool are open to guests from 1st May – 30th September (10am – 4pm).
We stayed here with our three dogs. Lovely location - we visited Sandringham - our dogs loved running aroung the woodland estate. We travelled all around the coastline stopping at Snettisham for a nice beach walk and back along the adjoining wild grassland. Lovely deli in Thornham which had been recommended. Very pretty village too. Ringstead for the Gin Trap pub - very good food and lovely pub with lots of outside space. Holkham beach - amazing! The most beautiful beach could have walked for hours but sadly our oldest dog couldn't. Wells-next-the-Sea - very pretty. Nice friendly pub close by in Sedgeford William IV - very dog friendly and lots of outside space - some undercover. Altogether a really lovely stay in this part of Norfolk - the welcome hamper was wonderful! Thank you!

We stayed here for our friend Anna's 50th birthday and had a really wonderful weekend. The owners of this place have created a very special destination and we'd love to come back some day.

The small rural village of Fring is only a 10-15 minute drive away from the beautiful North Norfolk coast and it is less than 10 minutes from HM The Queen’s Sandringham estate, parkland and grounds.
In the heart of West Norfolk the village of Docking is close by, with good local amenities including a grocers, post office, fish and chip shop, blacksmith and pub. Brancaster and The Royal West Norfolk Golf Club are about five miles away and Hunstanton Golf Club, is less than eight miles away.
