We were very pleased with the River View property. Nice and bright with modern furnishings. We kept warm and cosy indoors. Cooked plenty of meals in and everything we needed was provided. Great views from the windows. Good location close to the town and walks nearby.

Aldeburgh has a busy high street with a large number of independent shops, restaurants, cafes and pubs.
There are lots of activities on offer from golf across the road from River View to sailing, walking and of course enjoying the beach and sea.
The walking provides lots of opportunities for bird and wildlife watching. You can head down to the Sailors path which follows the Alde from Aldeburgh to Snape, taking in the views across the reed beds towards Iken.
Snape Maltings is home to Aldeburgh Music, which hosts the music festival in June and the Snape Proms in August along with a programme of other events throughout the year. Aldeburgh also has a number of events taking place at both the cinema and the Jubilee Hall including a summer theatre.
