Holiday Home • Machynlleth, Mid Wales
This cabin is ideal for a romantic couples’ escape in the wilds of Snowdonia. Set on a working farm, the location has been chosen to make the most of the inspiring views for those looking to get away from it all in the countryside.
About this home
The beautifully designed cabin was featured on the Channel 4/Netflix documentary ‘Cabins in the Wild’.
Materials such as slate and wood have been sensitively selected to be in keeping with the cabin’s stunning natural setting.
Inside the open-plan living space, guests will find a clever and compact design.
There is a pull-up table that’s perfect for two and a sumptuous king-size bed for rest and relaxation that elevates at the touch of a button.
A wood burner keeps things warm and cosy and there is a long slim picture window to one end that perfectly frames the mountain views and sunsets.
The small kitchenette comes with two gas hobs, a kitchen sink, a microwave and a miniature fridge/freezer – just enough gear to whip up a simple tasty meal while you admire the views.
There is also an en-suite shower room.
Outside, guests will find an elevated wooden deck positioned to make the most of the views.
The cabin is gloriously private and serene with far-reaching views and greenery all around.
This is a Dark Sky zone, so guests can wrap up, settle into the comfortable outdoor loungers and look out for shooting stars.
