About this home
Built in 1841, this early Victorian building was deconsecrated in 1961 and has recently undergone a complete restoration with a mezzanine bedroom and an extensive open plan living room with vaulted ceilings, the tall arch windows provide floods of natural light and beautiful views of the landscape.
The open plan living space is wonderfully furnished, an elegant, welcoming home form home.
One warm days you can fling open the double doors and let in the fresh air, on cooler you can light the wood burning stove and cosy up on the sumptuous sofa.
We really love the home cinema and surround sound, a screen lowers over the double doors and a projector displays Cable TV…a wonderful facility.
The handmade kitchen has everything you’ll need during your stay, from a quick breakfast to a meal for two.
The bedroom located on the upper mezzanine, this comes with a fabulous Super Kind bed. The bathroom is downstairs and has a large walk-in shower and WC.
Ideal for romantic getaways, weddings and within close proximity to local workshops including those hosted by CommonFarm Flowers, Durslade Farm and Charles Dowding.
