The Coach House forms part of a listed Cotswolds stone building, a former stables which has been extensively refurbished with guest comfort in mind.
Set in the heart of the village yet enjoying a secluded location within 5 acres of private grounds with 2 bedrooms each benefitting from en-suite bathrooms, the property accommodates up to 4 guests.
With underfloor heating throughout the ground floor which includes a fully fitted dining kitchen and light filled sitting room, it’s the perfect retreat for a relaxing break.
The sitting room features a glazed opening to a former cart shed with french doors to the patio and garden.
We love the large covered dining area in the cart shed providing shared al fresco dining with The Stables, a real feature that shows the flexibility of this fabulous, characterful property.
Enjoying an elevated position, Minchinhampton offers stunning views of quintessential Cotswolds valleys and is blessed with some award winning cafes and restaurants, a local butcher, organic dairy and farm shop.
A weekly country market attests to the importance of local produce and the surrounding countryside provides numerous walking routes.
The Coach House at The Lammas can also be booked with pet-free The Stables at The Lammas to sleep eight guests in total.
Perfect property for a long weekend retreat. We had a great time visiting this beautiful village of Castle Combe - well worth a visit. Bebe, our yorkiepoo, enjoyed her daily walks on Minchinhampton Common. We will certainly be planning another visit to The Coach House.
