Where we do start with this luxury holiday home in Wales? From pool to sauna to hot tub it has it all, celebrate a special occasion or get the family together to enjoy this stunning home perfectly placed to explore Wales and beyond.
About this home
With stunning Clwydian Range views and plenty of things to do, it’s hard to pinpoint this home’s best feature – we loved it all.
Your morning coffee comes with a view here, as many bedrooms step directly out onto the terrace, while the large alfresco dining area will be popular when the sun’s out.
Indoors, the games room and indoor swimming pool will compete for your attention during the day, and there’s even a cosy cave bar for nightcaps.
And although you’ll feel far removed from the city here, you’re just a few miles from several local pubs, and Wrexham and Chester are a quick drive if you want to explore.
This corner of North Wales is full of country lanes and out-of-the-way places.
It’s the perfect place to potter around antique centres and ceramic workshops, get lost in tiny villages and wind up in a cosy local pub.
There’s oodles of history to soak up, from flamboyant formal gardens and magnificent stately homes to medieval towns and Norman castles. It’s home to the smallest cathedral in Great Britain at St Asaph and the UK’s largest aqueduct at Llangollen.
Take a canal boat across the hair-curlingly high structure, if you dare. It’s not all ancient history through – this part of Wales is home to the annual riot of culture that is the Llangollen International Musical Eisteddfod, and Theatr Clwyd – the largest producing arts centre in Wales.
And if you need a seaside fix, there are traditional coastal resorts to explore, from the classic Victorian architecture of Llandudno to the bright lights and family-friendly attractions of Rhyl and Prestatyn.

Good to know
At full occupancy, six guests will be sleeping on sofa beds in the bedrooms. All of the twin bedrooms can be turned into doubles on request, as seen in the photos. This home is spread over three floors, with ground floor bedrooms and bathrooms. There is only seating for 24 guests at the dining table, so at capacity some guests will be eating elsewhere. Although the pool isn’t fenced, you can lock the door – ideal if you’re travelling with little ones. Due to this home’s location, we recommend bringing cars to get the most out of your stay. There’s free parking for up to twenty cars. The location may also mean you find that the phone signal is patchy from time to time.
