The Old Foundry
Originally a substantial workshop and five bay cart lodge, The Old Foundry has been sympathetically converted into a spectacular space and holiday home located in the wonderful Suffolk countryside.
The owners have retained the original character of the building, whilst finishing it to an exceptionally high and exacting standard.
Some of the key features include a handmade Henry Gordon-Jones kitchen, two sophisticated bathroom suites and, of course, the sheltered veranda, accessed through sliding doors and overlooking your own private, south-facing expanse of garden.
On entering the property there is a tastefully decorated, vaulted reception hall/second sitting room with large working fireplace. This leads through double doors into the drawing room where three sets of large sliding doors open out onto the veranda with its own outside furniture and garden.
Beyond, there is large kitchen/breakfast room, master bedroom with en-suite, further double bedroom and a shower room.
The large private garden is laid to lawn and bordered by mature hedging.
The Old Foundry is the perfect retreat for anyone looking to get away from it all and discover this delightful corner of Suffolk with its abundance of spectacular walks, cycle routes and wildlife.
