The peaceful high street of traditional Cotswold stone buildings is the backdrop for this Grade II listed cottage.

Step back in time through the heavy wooden door into the lounge, a cosy space that’s been finished with tasteful soft furnishings and warmed by a wood burner.

For dining continue through the cottage where you can take a seat at the solid wooden table and enjoy a simple supper of local produce.

The kitchen is to the rear of the cottage, finished with a more contemporary style and well-equipped with an electric oven and hob, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and washing machine.

There is access to the rear of the cottage which is a great place for muddy boots.

The stairs are accessed via a small wooden door in the lounge, they are cottage style and aided with a rope.

Off the landing, there is a double bedroom with vaulted ceilings and exposed beams, and a king-size bed dressed with natural linens.

There’s also a bathroom where you can relax in the free-standing clawfoot bath, and there is a separate shower and WC.

An additional room has been set up with a desk that is ideal for home workers.

The gardens are to the rear of the cottage and immediately from the side door there is a small, gravelled area with table and chairs, perfect for dining along with a further enclosed area edged with mature hedgerows.
