About this home

Unfortunately the main house was destroyed by a fire and never rebuilt and therefore The Summer House is the only remaining structure from that time.

Today, this Grade II listed tower forms an airy retreat, set in the rolling Shropshire countryside. It offers excellent views to the East, and views of the Shropshire Hills to the South and the West.

The building, now part of the Raby Estate, has been sympathetically modernised to accommodate guests, this provides a very private and unique getaway.

The ground floor offers generous living space with excellent views over the surrounding countryside. There is a small kitchen, ingeniously hidden in a dresser in order to maximise daytime living space.

A door leads to the spiral staircase, under which has been constructed a modern bathroom. This includes a shower and all the necessary facilities to ensure you are comfortable throughout your stay.

Climb the twisting staircase to the first floor to find the Master bedroom, with a 5′ king size bed, comfortable armchairs, wood burning stove, TV and sweeping views over the surrounding area.

Outside, to the rear of the property is a private patio area with dining furniture, as well as a small private lawn.

To the front is a private parking area as well as a log store.

The property is tucked away in the hamlet of Eyton-on-Severn, near the ancient Roman settlement at Wroxeter and is surrounded by stunning countryside.

Private parking area for one car.
Sorry, no children, infants or pets.
Minimum of two night stay.
