Sitting within the courtyard of The Old Dairy House, this striking timber framed 'passive' house which has been designed to offer an ideal eco holiday home close to Lyme Regis and the Dorset coast
The elegant minimalist design of this house is a real winner, a simple, cosy and relaxing retreat which would be perfect for families, friends or couples.
On the ground floor there is an open-plan kitchen, dining and sitting room, a master bedroom, bathroom, separate shower room and utility cupboard.
The fully equipped kitchen has Bosch appliances, fridge/freezer, double oven and hob, dishwasher and microwave, with the dining area having a large table and seating for six guests.
The sitting room has a wood burning stove and cosy seating, a television and music system.
The master bedroom has a king-size bed – please note this room is open to the mezzanine floor above, however there are shutters that can be installed on request to provide better privacy.
On the mezzanine floor there is a further double bed and study area with black out blinds, this room is open to the ground floor below, however again there are shutters that can be installed on request to provide better privacy.
In addition, there are two cosy single bed ‘pods’ nestled under the eaves with snug privacy curtains.
There is a lovely pretty designed garden with patio and garden furniture which overlooks the owner’s farmhouse and grounds.
The fact that it’s so eco-friendly, with great insulation and a heat exchange system is the icing on the cake.
There is parking for up to two cars next to the property within the courtyard.
Such a cool hideaway! Stylish, beautiful and a clever use of space! Myself, my friend and her daughter just loved this space. Beds where very comfortable, and the log burner does heat the whole place well, so it’s a very cosy pad! Well equipped kitchen too! Very quiet location and a just 5-10 min drive into town. Loved it!

The town has something for everyone with shops, cafes and restaurants, art galleries and regular festivals throughout the year.
A few favourite beaches in the area worth visiting are Lyme Town beach from where you can swim off the North Wall or hire paddle boards, Monmouth Beach just west of The Cobb in Lyme Regis is quieter and dog friendly all year round.
