Beautiful house- spacious, comfortable and warm, exceptionally well furnished, equipped and decorated. Very generous welcome basket. Parking space at the back, walk out the front door on to the Green with the stupendous Wells cathedral just across the way. Great location.

The accommodation was perfect for our needs; just right for the Christmas attractions and restaurants, and being close to the Cathedral was very important. The attention to detail in the cottage, the hamper, sweets and fruit, and of course the decorations was so appreciated. It was our second visit this year and we hope to return.

The famous West Front of the Cathedral provides a backdrop to this two storey terraced property, from where everything the city has to offer is within easy walking distance.
Wells lies on the southern tip of a triangle with Bath and Bristol to the north. The 13th Century Cathedral, with 300 statues on the spectacular West Front, is the jewel of the city but there are many other visitor attractions including the nearby 14th Century moated Bishop’s Palace and the Vicars Close – said to be the oldest continually inhabited street in Europe.
However, the modern world is here too, including a bustling twice weekly farmers’ market selling a wide variety of local produce. If you don’t want to cook, there are also plenty of cafes and restaurants in the town’s pretty streets.
