The Experience

Stylishly furnished with coastal accents, Chestnut Cottage is in a great location with excellent places to eat on your doorstep, ideal for couples wanting a spacious love nest or families who are looking for a great holiday home for a few days or longer.

Step inside and you’ll discover a large sitting room and spacious well-equipped kitchen with breakfast bar and stools; perfect for wake-me-up for coffees and home-cooked breakfasts.

The sunny conservatory to the rear offers space for dining and lovely views out over the garden. Outside there’s a lovely terrace with seating at the bottom of the fully-enclosed lawned garden.

There are three beautiful sumptuous bedrooms; two King-size bedrooms and a twin bedroom. All are decorated with designer wallpapers and fabrics and cushions and throws.
Both King size bedrooms have en suite shower rooms complete with digitally controlled showers. There’s an additional bathroom which services the twin room, so perfect if there is a group of you staying.

This flint cottage is both laid-back and lovely and with everything decorated in a soft palette of Farrow and Ball chalk paints and accents of colour, it is a lovely place to escape to at the end of the day or when you feel you need an injection of sea air!

With parking for up to four cars to the side of the property there is plenty of space to unload too.

Thornham is picturesque yet vibrant and is an old smuggling village right on the North Norfolk Coast. Wide expanses of salt marsh separate the village from the sea and it is a paradise for walkers and bird watchers.

There are several great places to eat including Thornham Deli, selling all manner of local produce, cakes, specialities and great coffee (and breakfast and lunch too!), The Lifeboat Inn, an old smuggling haunt complete with heavy beams and roaring fires, is great for relaxed dining whilst The Orange Tree a great gastro pub.

At Drove Orchard’s on the edge of the village started as a farm shop and pick-your-own-fruit farm, but which has now evolved into so much more!
