The Experience

With its stunning dog-friendly beaches, Fisherman’s Cottage offers a stylish self-catering break in Wells-next the-Sea.

With its rustic interiors and views of the quay from the second floor, it is a wonderful cottage to escape to whatever time of year and lends itself to a single couple or two couples wanting to holiday together.

Comfortable sofas and a scattering of cushions and welcoming log burner, create a bohemian-coastal inspired theme in the sitting room, where you can open the door to the front terrace during the summer months, or snuggle down on the sofa in front of the fire during the cooler autumn and winter months.

Cook up a treat in the modern and well-equipped kitchen and share good conversation across the table in the dining room with a good glass of wine.

Access to the first and second floor is via a traditional Norfolk winder staircase, so do take care when ascending these floors, although the view from the top floor is well worth the climb!

In the height of summer, take in the sun’s rays on the front terrace and relax in the knowledge that you only have a short walk to one of the many pubs and restaurants which populate this vibrant little town.

With so much to do, don’t forget that you literally have one of the best beaches on your doorstep. Wells beach is unique and is a photographer’s dream with its pine forest and quirky beach huts.

Great stay!

We enjoyed our stay in Wells. The property is really well situated. The welcome hamper was a lovely surprise with lots of nice treats. We had a great stay here and would love to stay again. Many thanks.

The beautiful little seaside town of Wells-next-the-Sea sits in the middle of the beautiful North Norfolk coast. An amazing area to cycle, walk in and explore the local wildlife, you won’t find a nicer town to stay.

Shop to you drop in the Staithe Street, the little high street that joins the lower and upper parts of the town together, dine at The Crab House if you love fish, head to The Crown Inn on The Butland’s for fine dining or their good bar menu.
