Tucked into a row of classic Bath stone houses up the hill from the heart of the city, this Georgian apartment is an idyllic spot for those looking to unwind in a quieter Bath neighbourhood. Whether you’re visiting Bath for work or pleasure, this is a perfect spot to call home. As soon as you step inside, you’ll be met with a traditional space accented with sumptuous designs. The luxurious elements – plush furnishings, velvet textiles, eclectic objects and ambient lighting fixtures – are a reflection of the city’s rich history. Start your day off with a coffee in one of the plump armchairs as you soak up the early morning sun from the bay window before turning pages of your holiday read on the gold velour sofa. After a day perusing the Victoria Art Gallery, return home for a memorable dinner in front of the fire and a glass of naturally-produced Somerset cider.The highlights of central Bath start from as close as fifteen minutes’ walk away, such as the Royal Crescent, The Jane Austen Centre and The Roman Baths, while the quaint villages and walking routes of the vast Cotswolds AONB lie a short drive outside of the city.

While the home isn’t suitable for children under 12, babies may be allowed – speak with your host to request a cot. There are two flights of stairs to climb here – this may not be suitable for those with reduced mobility. All beds here can be separated into singles upon request. You’ll share an entrance with the building’s other residents. Please do not wear shoes inside the apartment. Your host requests that you use coasters for your drinks and not place hot items directly onto worktops. Though there isn’t a dedicated desk here, the dining table doubles up as a laptop-friendly workspace. Your host asks that you respect quiet hours after 10pm
