About this home
The cottage provides a warm welcome and has been finished to a high standard throughout with lots of thought going into all the finishing touches.
Walk in through the front door, and you will find yourself in a small lobby area where there is storage for coats and walking boots.
To the right of the entrance, you will find the cosy lounge with a feature stone fireplace and a wood burner which offers a great place to curl up at the end of the day with a good book or watch your favourite film on the Smart TV.
Up a couple of steps from the lounge you will find the country-style kitchen which is bright and airy and has views over the garden.
The kitchen is open and leads down into the dining area which is a great space to enjoy a hearty breakfast or a romantic evening meal.
The traditional cottage stairs to the first floor are found in the lounge, you will find two relaxing bedrooms with attractive low windows with views over the village.
There is a family bathroom with a raised free-standing bath, a separate shower and WC.
There is a pretty walled enclosed rear garden which backs onto the open fields.
The patio with seating, it is a great spot to enjoy a morning coffee or a glass of your favourite tipple on a sunny evening.

Located just 3 miles from the birthplace of Wordsworth. Great base to explore the Lakes, fells and unspoilt coast. Storage for bikes in the garden shed. Parking for 1 car to the front of the property.
