As well as letting in copious amounts of natural light, the French door also leads out to a charming garden space with some seating for warm evenings.

Upstairs, the bedrooms are both large and equipped with regal beds, while there’s even a balcony space looking out over the rooftops of East London and the distant skyscrapers in The City.

However, you don’t even have to go far to find things to do in the neighbourhood.

Just around the corner, there’s the Castle Cinema — an Art Deco building reopened after a local crowdfunding campaign — and Chatsworth Market, which runs every Sunday with a great range of independent stalls.
