This cosy home just for two has a wonderful living kitchen and dining space that is warmed by a lovely wood burner in the colder months.
The bedroom opens onto the fabulous freestanding bath tub with a separate walk in shower.
This home is located in the grounds of an estate. You’ll have the whole cottage to yourselves, as well as the upper field.
The home boasts beautiful views down the valley towards Sawrey, Grizedale Forest, and the Old Man of Coniston.
We recommend bringing a car to get the most out of your stay – there’s free parking here. There are good public transport links in the area too.
It’s just a short walk from Hill Top, Beatrix Potter’s home, and is surrounded by a wild meadow planted with fruit and nut tree orchards – this is certainly a picturesque spot for a romantic escape.
